In the moment of a sunset, the artist didn’t want to centre his camera in the most evident element that could be the sky or the sun. The centre is a metallic structure perfectly shaped in black over the colourful sky that plays as if a chromatic board. At the bottom, we can see the Besós chimneys, icon of Barcelona’s coastline.
In StockThis spectacular curvy bridge is located in Glòries Square. The image transmits modernity, technology and dynamism. Each one of the chromatic games presented by the artist contributes visually.
In StockThese are the three chimneys of Besós, very common in the skyline of Barcelona, captured here in an unusual way. The artist captures the reflex made by a window wet by the rain. Very good use of the black and white.
In StockThe metallic grid of wires, walkways, traffic lights, draw their black silhouettes over a clean sky. The image is in black and white and the degrading sky is converted into a soft grey. It contrasts with the aggressive urban elements. The artist gains certain dynamism when inclining his camera and changes the original vertical and horizontal lines by new...
In StockIn the neighbour city of Badalona, there is the Factory of one of the Spanish brands with more history: Anisette “El Mono”. In front of the factory, there is a construction called “Petroleum Bridge” that seems to get into the sea. With this impressive black and white panorama, Llobet captures every detail of the scene.
In StockIn Badalona, there is the “Petroleum Bridge”, which has at the entrance the statue of the famous character of Anisette “El Mono”. He is holding up a bottle with the attitude of inviting us to have a shot. It seems the image was taking during the sunset, but in reality, it’s exactly the opposite, as the scene is situated towards the East and the sun is...
In StockThis image was taken in the upper part of the neighbour city of Badalona (Baetulo, in Roman times). This big format panorama transports us to a world of contrasts, where we can see, in the forefront, the medieval construction of the Monastery of Sant Jeroni de Murtra and in a second level, the current city.
In StockThis dock was built to disembark oil products. It gives us the testimony of the industrial past of this area. Lonesomeness and night lights reinforce the character of the structure.
In StockEnric Curto chose this point of view to show the connection of this artificial structure, created by men for an industrial use, to the natural environment of the coast.
In StockYou can always take a better picture of this mountain magnifying it’s features. During the sunset of a winter day, the silhouette of Montserrat appears on the layers of the blue sky.
In StockOnce the tallest chimney in Europe, the old "Sanson" concrete factory, breaks the palette of light tones that appear during the sunset. Located in Sant Just Desvern, it began to run back in 1924. I just observed and shooted. A unique combination of colors and shapes, that will never ocurr again.
In StockI like to capture images that evoke freedom. A grey sky and a rough sea, under a bad weather that invites to stay at home, nevertheless, she felt the need to go out and dance.
