To isolate and magnify one of the 32 streetlamps at the Paseo de Gracia built in 1906 by Pere Falqués, Enric Curto opted to do a low-angle leaving only the sky as background. These streetlamps were built in a unique piece of wrought iron, with the characteristic coup de fouet. They were built in the foundry of Manuel Ballarín.
